Personally, I don’t. I’m a woman for myself and while I believe that overall both genders are 100% equal, I also know that doesn’t mean we’re equal in all areas. I was talking to a male friend about this the other day, he being an advocate for male-only admissions, and me having been an advocate for allowing phsyically qualifying females, as in, the ones who are as tall and huge as the guys, and he simply answered “show me one huge & tall female in here who could carry me if I was wounded” and I kind of, er, got his point. Even when born better than average, women still don’t have the excess muscle mass and bone density that guys do. So while there may be the rare extreme bodybuilder female to come by the side of and meet standards, I don’t reflect that’s enough to allow any averagely fit female to join as they do. In addition to that, the numbers are out that more than 25% of females in the military have been sexually assaulted by the men they’re working with, and that just can’t glide. But you’re putting recruited men in a pack with a woman or two, shipping them away from all their sense of normality, and placing them in a state of hyper intense violence. If not risk from our own male team members, we’re fighting in the middle east right now and likely will be for a while, where women are considered playthings and property. I reflect it’s just a terrible scenario all around, putting the women and men in chance. What are your thoughts on this theme?
